The APS notes that the draft Guidelines are part of the regulatory framework established by amendments to the State Insurance and Care Governance Act 2015 and the State Insurance and Care Governance Regulation 2021, that SIRA consulted on in 2022 and to which the APS responded. We understand that the draft Guidelines specify SIRA’s service and billing expectations for the relevant services delivered by health and health-related service providers in the workers compensation and CTP schemes.
We also understand that many of the requirements outlined in the draft Guidelines already apply to psychologists working within the scheme. The full submission provides some comments and feedback on the draft Guidelines.
