Overview
This is the first 2026 session as part of the structured Group Supervision Program to support Organisational Psychology registrars complete their endorsement. Up to 33% of supervision hours can be group supervision.
This is session 8 in the current program, which will cover Competency #5: Conducts Psychological Interventions. Specifically:
5.1 Has knowledge of the efficacy and effectiveness of a range of interventions and modes of delivery relevant to practice across the lifespan and in different contexts, including cultural contexts.
5.2 Uses diagnosis, formulation, and client preferences to develop intervention plans.
5.3 Selects and implements intervention/s that will address the goals for intervention and are sensitive to both the client and professional context.
5.4 Outlines the risks and benefits of treatment to the individual relevant to their context, strengths, lived experiences and circumstances.
5.5 Conducts a range of culturally safe interventions that maximise optimal outcomes with clients and that:
- Identify and manage clients who are vulnerable or at risk of harm to self or others
- Treat psychological disorders
- Strengthen healthy relationships within the family system or other relevant systems
- Support adaptive psychological functioning in individuals, groups and systems.
5.6 Regularly evaluates client progress and views about the agreed psychological intervention, client’s goals and aspirations, and the effectiveness of interventions.
5.7 Uses evaluation results to review and revise interventions as necessary.
As per all the sessions in this program, it is facilitated by a Board-approved, endorsed Organisational Psychologist, and requires active participation, self-reflection, and application of the registrars' knowledge.

This event is aimed at Psychology registrars who are undertaking Organisational Psychology endorsement.

- This is a Member Groups event. All communication will be sent to the registrants’ registered email address. This includes event reminders with details (such as the venue details) and any pre-event or post-event resources, if provided by the facilitators.
- A post-event email will be sent within two weeks of the event’s completion to each registrant’s registered email address. This email will include the CPD certificate, and any additional resources shared during the session.
CPD
It is up to attendees to assess and determine how learning from this event aligns with the requirements of their learning plan. The providers accordingly do not make any representation that the event counts towards attendees’ CPD learning requirements. If an attendee determines themselves that the learning they complete aligns to their learning plan, then they can decide to count those hours towards their CPD requirements for the registration cycle.
