APS College
Overview
The National College of Community Psychologists is pleased to invite you to this series of two webinars to refresh or to learn about community psychology principles. The webinars will be facilitated by Dr Julie Morsillo, Community and Counselling Psychologist.
Webinar 1: Feel valued to give value to relationships and the community
Join us to share our understandings of community psychology principles, including supporting people directly and through community agencies to explore ways of improving their sense of wellbeing. We will be looking at helping others to feel valued, so they can give value back to their relationships and the community.
Webinar 2: Personal narrative of hope to thrive
We can hear and tell ourselves problem-saturated stories and feel that we have little agency. However, we can develop our personal narratives of hope with more agency and help others to recognise their own self-worth and how to survive and thrive, using narrative therapy and compassion focused therapy principles.
Please note: This series will begin with two webinars and further events for the series for 2026 will be considered following participant feedback.
