COVID-19 infection control and prevention:
What you need to know

Organiser Banner

Overview

The impacts of COVID-19 and competing pressures on psychologists are changing the landscape of running a practice. This activity serves as a tool to educate on best practices to improve client safety, develop a pattern of risk reduction to navigate life more safely during a pandemic, and adapt to whatever environment presents itself when moving to different sites or working with clients with different needs. The State guidelines at this time will direct overarching requirements, but the participant will be able to assess what further changes are needed to ensure low risk of exposure, in proportion to what exists in the community of work.

Level of Learning

Foundational. This activity is targeted to those new to the topic.

Duration of access

Access to this activity is for 12 months from the date of confirmed registration.
