This submission provides APS feedback on the Psychology Services fees that ReturnToWorkSA is seeking to gazette for 2024-25, effective 1 July 2024.
The APS and ReturnToWorkSA (RTWSA) regularly consult on matters to achieve the best possible outcomes for South Australians with a work injury, and the APS supports the Scheme’s mission to deliver the best quality care and treatment to injured workers.
Overall, the APS is supportive of the RTWSA psychology fee structure for 2024–25 and the proposed increase of 6% for all psychology items. We believe that benchmarking the psychology fees on the clinical average private charge is a good outcome for all psychologists.
