Webinar (Live) Event

Evidence-based and neuro-affirming intervention for ADHD: Parent training

Organiser Banner

Overview

This workshop will focus on providing insights and practical tools to assist psychologists to deliver 'parent/family training', an evidence-based intervention recommended in the Australian Clinical Guidelines for ADHD

Throughout the workshop you will be encouraged to use a family systems lens and case formulation to be able to respond to the unique needs of each family you work with.

Parent and family training encompasses structured, evidence-based interventions designed to support parents and carers in enhancing their parenting skills to meet the complex needs of children and adolescents with ADHD. Delivered directly to caregivers, these programs empower families to implement consistent, effective strategies that promote positive behavioural outcomes and improved family functioning.
