The APS held its 2023 Annual General Meeting on Wednesday, 15 November 2023.
APS members considered four ordinary resolution and one special resolution to amend our Constitution.
Ordinary resolutions are carried when 50% or more of votes cast are in favour.
Special resolutions are carried when 75% or more of votes cast are in favour.
Ordinary Resolution 1: Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Psychology Interest Group
Carried with 95.24% voting in favour.
Ordinary Resolution 2: Internal Family Systems and Psychology Interest Group
Carried with 87.18% voting in favour.
Ordinary Resolution 3: Domestic and Family Violence Prevention and Psychology Interest Group
Carried with 88.24% voting in favour.
Ordinary Resolution 4: Director Remuneration
Carried with 79.22% voting in favour.
Special Resolution: Amendment of the APS Constitution to change the name of the Division of General Psychological Practice to the Division of Professional Psychology
Carried with 77.27% voting in favour.
