2021 Annual General Meeting

The AGM included presentations from the President, Chief Executive Officer, and Chair of the Finance, Investment and Audit Committee. 

APS members considered two ordinary resolutions and 17 special resolutions to amend our Constitution. 

Ordinary resolutions are carried when 50% or more of votes cast are in favour. 

Special resolutions are carried when 75% or more of votes cast are in favour. 

Ordinary Resolution 1: Establish the APS Psychology and Psychedelic-Assisted Psychotherapy Interest Group 

Carried with 82.04% voting in favour. 

Ordinary Resolution 2: Increase APS Director fees by a maximum of 1% 

Carried with 82.24% voting in favour. 

Special Resolution 1: New Objects to better express the Society’s purpose and mission 

Carried with 77.63% voting in favour. 

Special Resolution 2: Create the Division of Early Career 

Carried with 90.44% voting in favour. 

Special Resolution 3: Rename Divisions to Faculties

Special Resolution 4: Amend the name of the Division of General Psychological Practice
