The APS was pleased to respond to the WA Mental Health and Alcohol and Other Drugs (WAMHAOD) Strategic Directions 2025-2030 consultation. The APS supported the Strategy’s emphasis on prevention, early intervention, clinical care, recovery, and system-level reform to strengthen community health, mental health and wellbeing. The submission commended the focus on prevention, integration, workforce capability, psychosocial supports, equity, cultural safety and robust governance and evaluation.
