Overview

CGU presents a series of webinars to provide practitioners with useful and practical guidance on a range of topics focussing on insurance matters.

This webinar will cover: 

  • the background, concerns, issues around the management of multiple relationships and multiple clients,

  • most common issues such as lack of clear communication at the start around the nature of the relationship, conflicts of interest and confidentiality, poor consent process, poor case conceptualisation, poor record keeping in relation to those issues, poor decision making, and poor management of the relationships generally, resulting in complaints, and

  • solutions to manage multiple relationships and clients.

About the presenter(s)

Jehan-Philippe Wood is a lawyer and Partner at Clyde & Co, Perth, specialising in the management of professional risks affecting firms and individuals, including allied health professionals. He was admitted as a solicitor of the Senior Courts of England & Wales in March 1999 and to the Western Australian Supreme Court in December 2016. He has been assisting professionals, including registered psychologists and other allied health professionals, in resolving complaints from clients, including AHPRA notifications, investigations and proceedings, since early 2015.
