On 21 January 2019, the Productivity Commission released an issues paper to guide people in preparing a submission to the Inquiry into Mental Health. It set out some of the issues and questions the Commission had identified as relevent at the early stage of the inquiry.
The APS undertook an extensive consultation with APS members, including setting up advisory groups, to inform the response. Our response was submitted to the Productivity Commission in June 2019, with the APS White Paper included as an attachment.
