FAQs

Help me login

I need to reset my password?
Follow our simple and secure password guidelines.

I don't know my member number.
Your member number is also known as your Login ID . You can find it in an email received from the APS.

What should I do if the website is not responding?
Firstly, sorry for the inconvenience. Please wait 5 to 10 minutes then try again. This can happen due to high volume activity on the site. We also suggest disconnecting any VPNs, using another browser or device, or trying again later in the day.

Manage my account

Why haven’t I received any correspondence or reminders from the APS?
Your email subscriptions may not be up to date. The Member Services team can help you with this. Please email [email protected], and we'll get you reconnected.

How can I download my new membership certificate?
This is available from your dashboard and each membership cycle will be updated annually on 1 June once you’ve renewed.

Payment options

What are the renewal payment methods?

You can renew for the year and pay in full or opt for monthly instalments via credit card or direct debit (bank account).

How are the monthly instalments scheduled?

Monthly instalments are taken on the 1st of each month. Monthly instalments are based on the full 12 months membership fee, regardless of when you renew.

NOTE: Renewals after 1 July, you will be charged for June and July in your first instalment.

Renewals after 1 August, you will be charged for June, July and August in your first instalment.

I need to download my receipt or tax invoice

Log in to the payment portal or find these on your dashboard under past invoices.

How can I confirm if my payment has gone through?

An email confirmation will be sent once your renewal has been successfully completed. You can also check the status of your payment via the payment portal.

Can I switch from paying in full to instalments or vice versa?

To change payment method, this can be done annually during the renewal process. Unfortunately, our system does not offer the option to switch payment methods mid-membership year.

The payment form is greyed out?

This may be a security issue alerted through the payment portal and your device not being up to date. Please ensure you are disconnected from a VPN, your device is running on its latest software version or try a different device such as your mobile phone.

My payment was deducted multiple times

If you renew with monthly instalments between 1 and 15 May 2025, a duplicate payment can be expected as your renewal coincides with the final monthly instalment scheduled for the 2024-2025 Membership year. This is not an extra charge, and your next instalment will occur in July.

If the duplicate payment did not occur during these dates, please contact the Member Services team for further investigation.

Can I apply for a discount post-renewal if I missed the renewal deadline?

Unfortunately, discounts cannot be applied retrospectively. Please ensure you check your eligibility for a discount and gain confirmation prior to renewing.

It looks like I’ve been over-charged through my monthly direct debit instalments?

Monthly instalments are based on the full 12 months membership fee, regardless of when you renew. If you renew after 1 July, you will be charged for June and July in your first instalment. If you renew after 1 August, you will be charged for June, July, and August in your first instalment.
