Vale Mr John Henry Jenkins MAPS

Prepared by Jon Jenkins, son of John Henry Jenkins.

My father, John Henry Jenkins, passed way in January, aged 100 years.

He was granted life membership with the APS in June 2012.

John held school councillor positions with the Education Department of NSW in the 1960s, and worked with young patients at North Ryde in those years as well.

He entered private practice in the 1970s. He acted as the school councillor for Cranbrook school, and other schools, as far as I know.

He retired, and moved to Brisbane in the early 1980s, where he continued his association with the APS.
It was understood that he was a supervisor well into his eighties.

He was still providing psychology classes for members of the Redlands U3A(university of the 3rd Age) until his passing.
