A real person first, clinical psychologist second. I like to think I'm genuine and easy to talk to, seeing a whole person in front of me and not just symptoms or labels. I value understanding people and getting to the source of a problem and working with them to achieve lasting change.
Although I see people with most mental health issues including worry, anxiety and depression, I have an additional interest in working with: trauma, stress, major life events and transitions; adolescents and young adults; Interpersonal/ relationship issues; chronic health conditions; postpartum depression, anxiety and OCD.
I am trained in a variety of evidence-based techniques including CBT, ACT, trauma-informed approaches, EMDR, DBT, Expressive Arts and Schema Therapy and use a tailored approach to work with clients to build on strengths and live more fulfilling lives.
