I am a clinical psychologist and advanced certified schema therapist. I have a collaborative, flexible and client-centred style that aims to empower, and prioritises the dignity of the individuals with whom I work. My practice is trauma-informed and culturally responsive.
My areas of interest include complex trauma, issues related to grief and loss, depression, anxiety and the adjustment to challenging life circumstances. My approach is primarily informed by schema therapy and attachment theory, integrating principles of somatic awareness and aspects of other evidence-based modalities. These include cognitive behaviour therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), as well as dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT).
I am a member of the International Society of Schema Therapy, the Australian Psychological Society, and a fellow of the APS College of Clinical Psychologists. I work with adults from the age of 20 years.
