As a practising psychology for 30 years I have extensive experience in assessment and treatment for anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic pain, anger, relationship problems, sleep issues and chronic health conditions. I value the connection I have with my clients. Over the years I have learned the importance of listening and understanding with empathy. I believe in the power of compassion and encouragement and working with client strengths, recognising the struggles that can prevent people from getting on with their lives. I am trained in CBT, ACT, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Solution Focussed Therapy, Mindfulness Based Therapy and Psychodynamic psychotherapy. My practice is evidence based and foccussed on acheiving results for my clients goals and objectives. Listening and understanding are some of my strenghts.
