I have been practising psychology for 30 years and provide psychological assessment and treatment for anxiety, depression, trauma, chronic pain, anger, relationship problems, sleep issues and chronic health conditions. I value the therapeutic relationship that is client centred. Whilst I have a lot of experience as a psychologist I work with compassion and client strengths recognising the struggles that can prevent people from getting on with their lives. I use different therapeutic approaches tailored to individual clients and issues as appropriate. These include CBT, ACT, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Solution Focussed Therapy, Mindfulness Based Therapy and Psychodynamic psychotherapy. My practice is evidence based and foccussed on acheiving clients goals and objectives. Listening and understanding are some of my strenghts. I believe in encourging and supporting people.
