Bethany offers a warm, compassionate and creative approach to treatment, with a wealth of experience supporting adults and adolescents in public, private and community settings. She believes in tailoring treatment to the individual's unique needs. She tends to draw from a multidisciplinary approach including elements of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion-Focussed Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), elements of Schema Therapy and Mindfulness-Based Approaches. She is also trained in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy-Extended (CBT-E) and Specialist Supportive Clinical Management (SSCM) treatments for supporting people with mild-to-moderate eating disorders. Bethany has a particular interest in helping people understand underlying patterns from a compassionate standpoint, to help them move towards valued living.
