Kat is an experienced clinical psychologist counselling adults experiencing trauma, depression, anxiety, PTSD, grief and loss, life transition and adjustment difficulties.
She has a special interest in women�s and perinatal psychology, providing counselling for:
Preconception, including fertility issues
Pregnancy
Perinatal loss including termination for medical reasons
Antenatal depression and anxiety
Birth trauma including NICU/Premature birth distress
Postnatal depression and anxiety
Adjustment issues
Neurodiversity-affirming care.
Kat is welcoming of parents bringing their babies and toddlers to sessions, with parking provided onsite.
Kat takes a client centred approach to counselling, drawing from a range of therapeutic approaches including Psychodynamic, Attachment, Cognitive Behavioural & Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing), Flash Technique (trauma processing) and Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy.
