Matt works from an integrative, evidence-based framework, drawing on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), and Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT).

Central to his practice is a client-centred philosophy which invites individuals to develop genuine curiosity about their own psychological experience, fostering deeper self-awareness and lasting change.

His clinical interests lie particularly in working with vulnerable individuals, young people and their families, with a strong commitment to early intervention and preventative care.
