Alicia's approach to therapy focuses on helping clients make sense of their experiences and understand how past patterns and relationships influence thoughts, emotions, and behaviours in the present. She believes lasting change develops through insight, emotional awareness, and self-compassion. Alicia provides a warm, respectful, and non-judgemental space where clients feel safe to explore difficult emotions and life experiences at a comfortable pace. She values building a collaborative therapeutic relationship and takes a strengths-based approach, supporting clients to recognise and build on their existing capacities and coping strategies. Alicia has experience working with children and young people who have experienced significant adversity, including out of home care. She has worked across schools, government and non-government organisations, and the NDIS sector, shaping her trauma informed understanding of how early experiences influence emotional wellbeing across the lifespan.
