Muaz Sozen is a psychologist who views therapy as a collaborative journey, inspired by the work of Carl Rogers, Stephen Hayes, and Carl Jung. He supports clients in developing self-awareness, resilience, and acceptance, believing that growth often comes from understanding the parts of ourselves we find difficult to face.
Muaz has strong experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander and culturally diverse communities. He brings cultural humility and lived experience to his work. He values cultural diversity and offers therapy in both English and Turkish.
Muaz holds a Master�s degree in Sport Psychology from the German Sport University Cologne. His integrative approach combines Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Somatic Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT). His work is trauma-informed, person-centred, and culturally sensitive, with a particular interest in identity, migration, and belonging.
