My name is Dr Elpiniki, and I am a warm and friendly Sydney-based clinical psychologist. I support adults who are struggling with feelings of anxiety, stress and depression as well as self-criticism, perfectionism, emotion dysregulation and the lasting effects of trauma, loss, and burnout. Many of the adults I work with look like they�re coping well on the outside yet privately feel anxious, low, overwhelmed, or emotionally drained. My PhD research investigated the effects of stress on treatment outcomes.
My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and evidence-based drawing on therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Schema Therapy and trauma-informed approaches. I place a strong emphasis on creating a safe and supportive space where you can explore what�s happening beneath the surface, understand the patterns that keep you stuck, and develop practical strategies to cope with life's challenges.
