Life presents challenges and sometimes we need that extra source of support and guidance to help us when we're feeling stuck. I'd like to help you learn new ways of responding; to free you from old restrictive patterns that leave you feeling trapped.
My approach is collaborative, compassionate, and supportive. I aim to help you create a life that is with awareness of what is truly important to you while also effectively handling the pain and distress that you are currently struggling with. I teach practical skills with immediate application to your specific needs and goals.
I am a Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years experience utilising several evidence-based approaches. I predominantly employ Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) in my work. I also offer Animal-Assisted Therapy (AAT) with my certified therapy dog incorporating animal-assisted interventions where this aligns with a clients goals and preferences.
