New Scholarship Program
The Health Workforce Scholarship Program replaces the Allied Health Scholarship administered by SARRAH.
The Consortium of Rural Workforce Agencies will deliver this new scholarship program from 1 July 2017.

SARRAH administers theAllied Health Streamsof the Nursing and Allied Health Scholarship and Support Scheme (NAHSSS). Funding is provided by the Department of Health and this national program supports health professionals and future health professionals to train and practice in geographic and clinical areas of need.
Visit the home pages of each scholarship for specific information about eligible professions, selection criteria, rural and remote status, the application process and the scholarship guidelines.
Applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait allied health professionals are encouraged. These scholarships provide practical support at the health service delivery level.

Clinical Placement Scholarship
This scholarship provides assistance for eligible applicants to gain a qualification recognised by the Australian Psychology Board as a clinical psychologist.
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) Scholarship
This scholarship provides assistance for practicing allied health professions to attend continuing professional development activities, such as short courses and conferences, to enhance their professional practice.
Undergraduate (Entry-Level) Scholarship
This scholarship provides assistance for people living in rural, remote and regional areas to study at an undergraduate or entry level.
