If your submission does not follow the below guidelines it will not be considered for review.
- Please ensure that you refer to the submission template when preparing your submission. Submissions not in the prescribed format, or not including all headings may not be submitted for review.
- The presentation title is to be in sentence case, using capitals where appropriate e.g. “My abstract title: An exploration of sentence structure”
- Use third person narrative (e.g. Treatment of xxx will be presented) rather than first person (e.g., I will discuss).
- Within the body of the submission, when using abbreviations spell out the name in full at the first mention and follow with the abbreviation in parenthesis.
- Abbreviations may be used in the title, provided the name in full is outlined in the body of the submission.
- Capitalise the first letter of trade names.
- Double check spelling and grammar. It is the responsibility of the submitter to ensure their text does not contain any typos or grammatical errors. The Committee will not be responsible for any errors published.
- Replace American spelling with British English spelling.
- Each submission is permitted a maximum of 4 co-presenters.
- Submissions must be submitted via the relevant submission portal.
- Accepted individual submissions will be scheduled together with other thematically related individual submissions. Any time constraints relating to the presentation date/time must be brought to the attention of the Conference Committee when submitting. Changes cannot be accommodated once the presentation has been scheduled.
- Presentations are not marketing opportunities for particular products or services, and submissions of this nature will not be considered.
Note: Only the accepted submissions of fully registered presenters can be included in the final Conference program. Registration is required by the end of December 2020. Failure to register by this date will result in your presentation being removed from the program.
Review process
All submissions are subject to review undertaken by expert reviewers, with respect to the scientific quality/relevance to practice. Reviewers’ recommendations and scores will then be assessed by the Conference Committee. The results of the review process and the decision of the Conference Committee are final and there are no appeals. Due to the number of submissions received, individual feedback will be considered but may not be possible.
