Floods

Worldwide, floods are the most costly natural disaster in terms of human impact and economic losses.

Australia is becoming increasingly at risk of frequent and widespread flooding because of warmer temperatures over land and sea.

Knowing how to prepare for floods, both physically and psychologically, and how to provide psychosocial support for individuals and communities impacted by floods, is important to help communities recover.
