Two APS psychologists have been recognised in the 2011 Queen’s Birthday Honours List for their contributions to the community.
- Dr Joseph Magliaro MAPS was made a Member of the Order of Australia for service to community health through the provision of psychological intervention and support programs, and support to personnel in the emergency services sector.
- Dr Pamela Ryan MAPS received the Medal of the Order of Australia for service to psychology as a practitioner and researcher.
