We are proud to share that two of our members have been recognised in the Australia Day Honours List, as announced by the Governor-General.
Mr Max Cornwell OAM MAPS from New South Wales has been awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia in the General Division (OAM) for service to community health as a psychologist and social worker. Mr Cornwell has 45 years’ experience as a psychologist in Australia and internationally and has been a member of the APS for over 20 years.
Ms Meredith Fuller OAM MAPS from Victoria has been awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia in the General Division (OAM) for service to community health as a psychologist. Ms Fuller is a Fellow of the APS College of Counselling Psychologists and has been an APS member for close to 40 years.
Psychologists have had an enormous positive impact on the lives of Australians during an incredibly difficult year. This recognition is very well deserved.
