APS partners with the University of Melbourne on new mindfulness training

APS partners with the University of Melbourne on new mindfulness training

We are proud to announce a new collaboration with the University of Melbourne to deliver online training to equip health professionals with new research-backed skills in clinical mindfulness.

The online MicroCert, Mindfulness in Clinical Practice, combines our industry-expertise across the psychology sector with the University’s world-class teaching and learning resources.

In a world filled with uncertainty, mindfulness is an essential tool.

As a treatment, mindfulness is increasingly sought after by people in our communities, but it’s important to ensure when delivering it, that the practice is evidence-based. Health professionals must know when it's appropriate to use mindfulness as an intervention to support mental health.

Who’s it for?

This MicroCert will equip all health professionals interested in clinical mindfulness with the skills and confidence to offer this to your clients or patients, and ensure your knowledge is backed by the latest research.

When does the training start?

The teaching starts on Monday 14 March 2022.
