Psychology Week 2021 is almost here and we are delving into the topic of mentally health workplaces. We have so many ways that you, and your colleagues, friends and family, can get involved. Here’s a reminder of what’s on. 

Working Minds breakfast panel discussion | Online 
Monday 29 November | 8.30am - 9.30am (AEDT) 

Psychology Week will open this Monday with the launch of the ‘Job Crafting for Employee and Workplace Wellbeing’ Report at the Working Minds breakfast panel. The panel will discuss what a mentally healthy workplace is, and the role every business, employer and employee can play in ensuring mentally healthy workplaces are implemented.

Business leaders’ event: ‘Put your own mask on first’  
Thursday 2 December | 12:30-1:30pm (AEDT) 

This online event is aimed at business leaders and how they need to find new ways to engage and motivate teams during the pandemic and with hybrid work models increasing across Australia. Our panel of experts will help business leaders to understand how to apply psychological principles to change their own mindset to better manage and motivate themselves, and their teams, in this new world.

This free public online event will help members of the community understand how to get and stay motivated at work. Our experts will share their insights and expertise to help everyday Australians take control of their working life using psychological tips and tricks.

Report and resources 

We are proud to be launching the ‘Job Crafting for Employee and Workplace Wellbeing’ Report from research conducted by the Centre for Wellbeing Science from the University of Melbourne. This fascinating research that delves into job crafting, passion and psychological safety at work – with clear findings that can help employers and employees 

We have also developed practical tip sheets that can be used by employers and employees alike.

Workplace mental health: developing an integrated intervention approach
