The APS has been nominated as a finalist for the Association of the Year, in the 2020 Association Awards.
This nomination recognises the outstanding year that the APS and our 25,000 members have had.
The APS and our members have responded positively to the many challenges of 2020. The speed with which members have embraced telehealth, online teaching and research, and remote methods of service-delivery is impressive. The move to digital CPD and events has meant that despite the distances, connections have not been lost.
Staff must also be commended for providing a seamless service whilst working remotely. Feedback from members has included that the communications, resources, events and day-to-day contact with staff has allowed them to work through the year with confidence.
The winner of the Association of the Year Award will be announced in mid-December, and the APS hopes to share good news with members then.
