Psychology supervisors' attitudes, knowledge and confidence in supervising neurodivergent supervisee

Closes 26 November 2025

We are inviting Board Approved Psychology Supervisors within Australia to participate in our study.

The Psychology Board of Australia have announced a new suite of Professional Competencies for Psychologists, including a new competency regarding how people with neurodevelopmental conditions are supported. In addition to supporting clients and members of the public, experienced psychologists also provide supervision to provisional psychologists, a proportion of whom have neurodevelopmental conditions.

Study Aims: Currently, there is limited data on supervisors’ understanding and practice of supervision with neurodivergent supervisees. As such, we are investigating psychology supervisors’ attitudes, knowledge and confidence in supervising neurodivergent supervisees.

Participation: If you would like to participate, click on the "Start the survey" link below to complete an anonymous survey that will take around 25 minutes of your time.
