Katie is a Clinical and Counselling Psychologist with 20+ years experience. She works with adults presenting with a wide array of issues and needs. She uses Schema Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) in flexible and creative ways and is informed by attachment theory and compassion focussed therapies. Katie likes to work with many different people and presentations. Currently she particular interest in working with health anxiety, specific phobias, adoption, grief, and with parents of adult children with BPD. With colleagues she developed 'Wise Choices' an ACT group treatment for BPD. Katie is guided by the values of Health at Every Size�, drawing on her own learning and lived experience to offer a respectful, weight-inclusive approach. She welcomes people of all abilities, identities, and walks of life, and aims to create a space where everyone feels seen and valued.
