Ivan Mathieson is a Clinical Psychologist who has a strong passion to help young people live happier and more productive lives. He has extensive experience in working with children and adolescents with social, emotional and behavioural problems.

Ivan has worked extensively with children, adolescents and their families in outpatient and inpatient mental health services. He has also worked as the head of psychological services at one of Melbourne�s prestigious private schools. In addition to his practice, he has been involved in teaching postgraduate psychology at La Trobe and RMIT Universities.

Ivan�s therapeutic approach is primarily cognitive behavioural therapy where indicated. Ivan has comprehensive training in Cognitive Behavioral therapy, including from The Beck Institute for Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (Philadelphia) and the Oxford Cognitive Therapy Centre.

Ivan works in assessing and treating the following concerns:

Anxiety Disorders such as Separation Anxiety.
