Raissa is a registered psychologist and clinical psychology registrar experienced in treating a range of mental health issues. She is curious about getting to know the person beyond the symptoms and witness the personal growth that happens with effective therapy.
She identifies her approach as that of a relational psychologist, which means that she will work with you to explore patterns of attachment and interpersonal challenges that may be interfering with your wellbeing and life satisfaction.
Raissa recognises the mental health impacts from systemic discrimination and uses an intersectionality framework, which means that she considers how all the different parts of your identity (e.g., your gender, disability, cultural background and/or body size) influence how you feel and how you live your life.
Raissa values creating a space where you can develop emotional awareness, build resilience, and feel more balanced and empowered to live a life that feels meaningful and purposeful.
