Paul is a registered psychologist of 25 years who works with clients who are struggling with emotions such as anxiety, depression, panic, stress and grief. Paul understands that everyone experiences challenges with their mental health from time to time and that with the right support they can overcome and let go of the things that are holding them back from achieving their goals and living a happier life.
Paul�s approach starts with empathy and rapport. Paul sees the whole person and gains an understanding of their current and past experiences to help the person make sense of what is happening for them today. Using a range of approaches including CBT and psychodynamic therapy, tailored to the person�s circumstances, Paul helps clients understand their goals for therapy and works in partnership with them to help them reach those goals. Paul�s approach is outcome focused and he uses a range of assessments to gauge the effectiveness of therapy, inform the approach and determine progress.
