I deeply believe a trusting relationship is the foundation for meaningful change in therapy, which is strongly supported by research. In a space of understanding and acceptance, we can explore your struggles, successes, hopes and fears. This can lead to a deeper understanding of yourself and underlying tensions, helping to ease symptoms and support you in building a more fulfilling life and richer relationships.
I have experience supporting people with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, perinatal mental health difficulties, PTSD and personality disorders. I work from a psychodynamic and systemic perspective, where we explore current difficulties alongside underlying patterns, to discover how these connect to your past and present relationships. I also use CBT and mindfulness when helpful.
I completed my doctorate in clinical psychology at the U. of Montreal in 2013. I offer sessions in English, French and Romanian and welcome people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
