I am a registered psychologist and Senior Research Fellow with a diverse academic and clinical background spanning medicine, psychology, and public health research. My journey began with a medical degree in Iran, followed by a PhD in the UK, focused on adult attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). I later obtained qualifications in psychological sciences and practised in Australia. I have contributed to more than 100 academic outputs, and my research has explored areas such as ADHD, online treatments for depression and anxiety, pain self-efficacy and consumer engagement in healthcare. Clinically, I have worked with a diverse range of clients, from adolescents to older adults, across various settings, including headspace and the NSW Quitline. I am passionate about integrating research into practice and supporting culturally responsive, evidence-informed care.
