Michaela is a warm and thoughtful psychologist who takes a collaborative and client-centred approach to therapy. She aims to provide a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to work towards meaningful change.
Michaela has experience working across community, educational, and private practice settings. She can support individuals with a variety of mental health concerns and has a particular interest in working with anxiety (including panic disorder and agoraphobia), depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, disordered eating behaviours, stress, adjustment to difficult life changes, and challenges related to early life experiences or interpersonal relationships.
Michaela integrates evidence-based treatment approaches tailored to each individual's needs, including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
