Catherine is a warm and compassionate psychologist supporting people experiencing anxiety, phobias, stress, chronic insomnia, and depression that co-occurs with sleep difficulties. She is experienced in working with neurodivergent clients and honours each person's communication styles, sensory needs, and executive functioning differences.
Her practice is shaped by formal training and lived experience and rests on a trauma informed and neuroaffirming framework. She prioritises building a safe and trusting therapeutic relationship where meaningful change and skill development can occur.
Catherine tailors therapy to the needs of each individual, drawing from evidence-based approaches such as cognitive behavioural therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, and dialectical behaviour therapy principles. She is also an ASA-certified CBTi Practitioner (L1) and offers CBTi, which is the first line treatment for chronic insomnia.
