I work with women to recover from childhood trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, grief, low self-worth, work & adjustment to life issues (e.g. menopause, divorce, retiring, birth of a child).
I have a special interest in Schema Therapy which draws on Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and other client-centred therapies that are collaborative, empathic, action-orientated, and address the underlying issues of depression and anxiety symptoms. I also incorporate body-centred approaches including polyvagal informed therapy, mindfulness (Dialectical Behavior Therapy), imagery (Schema Therapy), & Eye Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR).
