Dr Sarah McRae is a Clinical Neuropsychologist with over 15 years' experience working in public health services and private practice.
Sarah is based in the Lake Macquarie area and offers a comprehensive neuropsychological assessment service. She has extensive experience working with adults with a range of cognitive difficulties due to dementia/MCI, stroke, brain injury, MS and other neurological conditions and illnesses. She also has an interest in neurodiversity and adult ADHD as well as cognitive changes associated with menopause.
Throughout her career, Sarah has undertaken research in the area of memory and ageing, traumatic brain injury, clinical trials and dementia. She has conducted research through the University of Newcastle to understand the effects of neuropsychological feedback to patients with suspected dementia, and their families, and is interested in investigating novel ways to provide care and support for these families.
