Sandy is a Clinical Psychologist and a qualified Autism assessor at Millstream Psychology, Applecross.

Sandy has worked across government, not-for-profit, school and private practice workplace settings. Sandy creates a warm & respectful therapeutic environment to explore difficulties, develop new insights, feel a sense of relief, progressively work towards therapy goals & develop new and helpful coping strategies. Sandy has an interest in working with children, adolescents, young adults, families and those with neurodivergence. Sandy partners with GPs, psychiatrists, paediatricians, parents and schools to maximise positive outcomes. In treatment, Sandy applies techniques and approaches of Schema Therapy that include Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Eye-Movement Desensitization & Reprocessing (EMDR), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), Psychodynamic Therapy and Family Therapy techniques and practical solutions.
