Jessica is a Registered Psychologist with a Master�s degree in Clinical Psychology. She attained a First Class Honours in Psychology and was granted the Australian Psychological Society (APS) Prize in 2014, which recognises excellence in psychology and is awarded to students who gain first place at the end of their psychology degree. Her research interests include eating disorder diagnosis and classification. She was invited to present her research at the Australian Psychological Society Annual Conference in 2015.
Jessica has worked in a variety of roles across government; in community and in-patient settings. She draws on a number of treatment approaches, including, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Schema Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). Taking a strengths-focused approach, Jessica is recovery oriented with empowerment being the core feature of her work.
