Jim is a registered Clinical Psychologist and has worked in private practice for the last nine years. During this time he has worked with a wide variety of clients and issues.

Jim will always attempt to provide you with a professional, relaxed, warm, authentic, and engaging therapeutic experience. Even sharing a little humour (when appropriate) is not out of the question!

Jim's therapy approach includes: Intensive Short-Term Dynamic Psychotherapy (learning to use your emotions effectively, and examining how our working relationship can be used to help you to grow). He also uses Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) (teaching skills to help you to change your life). Jim also has a strong personal and professional interest in mindfulness practices.
