Christopher has 25 years experience helping people navigate mood, trauma, and substance use. After studying philosophy and law at the University of Sydney in the 90s, he had the breakdown he needed to have and discovered the world of psychotherapy. He trained in Gestalt and ACT (acceptance and commitment therapy), completed postgraduate studies in psychology, and has worked at the Buttery drug rehab therapeutic community, NSW Health, and in private practice. Hes been published in the Sydney Law Review and the Journal of Gambling Studies, and his groundbreaking but tortuously titled book The Cicada and the Bird: The Usefulness of a Useless Philosophy (Chuang Tzus Ancient Wisdom Translated for Modern Life) received mixed reviews from family and friends.
