Compassion-focused therapy principles and unconditional positive regard underly my approach.
I am particularly interested in the role of high sensitivity and neurodivergence in psychology and health.
I see adults with anxiety, depression, emotion dysregulation, interpersonal issues, chronic health issues (e.g. pain, fatigue, long covid, burnout), high sensitivity traits, neurodivergence (e.g. ADHD, Autism) and more.
I take an integrative therapeutic approach, primarily drawing on Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), Dialectical Behavioural Therapy (DBT), Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and neurodiversity-affirming practice, whilst also being influenced by Schema Therapy, Family Systems, Positive Psychology and other approaches.
Whilst I do not do ADHD or Autism testing/assessment reports, I enjoy helping people who are already diagnosed or think they may have traits.
