Sonja is a warm and collaborative Clinical Psychologist with over 25 years experience in both public health and private health hospitals and community health / primary health settings, schools, and in private practice. Sonja works with clients of any age, developing a safe, trusting and respectful therapeutic relationship, and applying a range of evidence-based treatments such as CBT, DBT, ACT, MBSR, attachment, parenting and family therapies. Sonja works with most psychological presentations, with specific expertise in child/adolescent, parenting, perinatal, workplace issues, relationship counselling and trauma.

She has also been a Board Approved Supervisor for psychologists and psychologists-in-training for 20 years. She has a Postgraduate Diploma of Systemic Family Therapy and a Master of Health Leadership and Management, and Master of Clinical Psychology. Sonja has held various clinical leadership and governance roles over the past five years.
