Rebecca is dedicated to providing person-centred mental health care. With connection at the forefront of her work, Rebecca prioritises warmth, compassion, open-mindedness, and authenticity in helping clients make positive changes to improve their wellbeing.
Rebecca believes that many of the emotional/interpersonal challenges causing individuals distress in adulthood have their roots in early childhood, and as such the therapeutic relationship provides a powerful opportunity for growth and healing. She values taking an individualistic and collaborative approach to therapy - where the client brings their expertise on what it is like to live their life, while she brings expertise in psychological knowledge acquired from her training and research and they work together on issues causing the client distress.
Rebecca has a special interest in working with attachment difficulties, young people, clients who struggle with alcohol or substances, and forensic issues.
