Hello, I'm a Registered Psychologist. I have particular interests in sleep difficulties in adults that co-occur with anxiety/depression symptoms. My clients typically have difficulty getting to sleep or staying asleep.
I have completed certified training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Insomnia (CBT-I), which is the first line evidence based treatment for insomnia. CBT-I involves tracking our sleep patterns, adjusting our sleep behaviours to optimise sleep efficiency and managing an active mind, for example.
I have worked in public, private and university settings with a range of presentations including anxiety, depression and OCD amongst others.
My role in public health focused on supporting parents of neurodivergent children with emotion regulation and behavioural difficulties using an attachment and behavioural approach that also strengthens the parent-child relationship.
I offer sessions in person at Nerang, Helensvale and via telehealth.
